Most people are always looking for the 'best' hoof conditioner to use on their horses hooves. I've had the same battle trying many different products before I found one I liked. This product does require you to shake it before applying, you can see the settlement of the product when it sits overnight. It comes in an easy to apply dobber (small container only, use the big bottle to refill). There was no super thick tar based or petroleum based product to paint on the hoof. I found an easy to apply and fairly mess free product to apply. I could leave and come back ten minutes later to find a hoof that was healthy and slightly glossy looking without the thick goopy mess. When applied at the beginning of grooming, the hooves would be dry enough to put bell boots on without a nasty mess.
